Pilot Course

​

DEMETRA pilot course aims to serve as a small-scale implementation and testing of the curriculum and platform developed in the framework of the project and enable the team to evaluate, revise, and make subsequent adjustments to reflect these revisions to better meet the needs of end users.

 

It also aims to:

● Reveal the degree of sustainability of the project’s idea

● Obtain feedback from the participants on the curriculum and platform

● Offer practical examples and knowledge from the specific settings of each country to the target groups

● Assist women from rural areas who wish to build and maintain a career in the agriculture sector to receive high-level professional education on up-to-date practices in the field.

 

The task aims to create a 3-hour training program with one session per country.

 

For the development of the short training, a need analysis will be conducted based on:

●The DEMETRA modules

● The DEMETRA OER Platform

 

Courses will be designed in a way to offer both the theoretical framework and practical experience on the subject, as well as provide practical guidance on how to better use the OER developed to reflect the participants’ individual needs and circumstances.
